We would like to inform you that starting from 1st of November 2009 a new regulation related to payment services enters into force - the Law on Payment Services and Payment Systems and BNB’s Ordinance №3 on the Conditions and Procedure for Execution of Payment Transactions and the Use of Payment Instruments. The new regulation enforces the Directives of the European Parliament and the Council with regard to payment services.
In accordance with the new regulations, starting from 1st of November 2009, Alpha Bank - Bulgaria Branch will apply new frame agreements concerning our clients, which regulate in details the conditions regarding the provision of payment services, including services related to opening and maintaining of bank accounts, issuance of bank cards and using Alpha Web Banking services.
The new frame agreements and the related applications are prepared in full compliance with the European legal framework and bank's best practices and they ensure the highest level of information of the clients, efficiency and security of the payments and increased quality of the service for all products provided by the bank.
For our clients the new frame agreements will enter into force as follows:
- two months after they are announced - for clients-individuals;
- 7 days after they are announced - for clients-legal entities, sole traders and freelancers.
The announcement date is considered 1st of November 2009. In case any of our clients do not accept the terms and conditions of the new frame agreements, they have the right to terminate unilaterally the contractual relations with the bank related to provision of payment services, before the end of the respective period shown above.
