Alpha Bank Bulgaria won for the second time the award "Foreign Bank branch" in the prestigious rating of "Bank of the Year" on July 5, 2010.

The Prize "Bank of the Year” and the annual bank awards were established back in 1992.

Association "Bank of the Year" invited a work group of experts, which gathered, processed and systematized the data from official annual results of all banks operating in Bulgaria. Using special methodology, the banks were classified in the separate categories. The rating for "Foreign Bank branch" is done in a manner analogous to the one for banks but all bank institutions with status "bank branch", which have published their reports in the BNB, are being compared.

The award "Bank of the Year" is granted for the thirteenth time.
